Pono Wong
Pono Wong is a mixed-race, Native Hawaiian/Asian high school freshman and prolific animator, filmmaker, writer, and actor. His unique style of mixing stop-motion, live-action, and 2D animation creates stunning effects. He grew up on Oahu, Hawai'I, and has been creating stop-motion films since elementary school. His knack for creating sympathetic characters shows his deep understanding of the human condition. His films, DUSK and ABRASIAN, have been Official Selections at the Hollywood Youth Diversity Film Festival and the Hawai'i International Film Festival's Inaugural 'Ōpio Youth Fest.
