Directed By Ray Lanuza

USA | Narrative | 40 min

New York City Premiere

Now in its 21st year, the 72 Hour Shootout is a global filmmaking competition where teams have just 72 hours to create an original short film based on a surprise theme. At least one member of each team must be of AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) descent, ensuring authentic representation on screen and behind the scenes.

Founded to promote AAPI empowerment in film and television, the Shootout continues to spotlight bold, diverse voices, break industry barriers, and launch emerging talent—all in a single weekend of inspired storytelling.
