We Both Went to School: Experiences of Student-Parents

Directed By Dhipinder Walia, Jaspinder Walia

USA | Documentary | 22 min

New York City Premiere

This documentary weaves together stories from three different Bronx Community College (BCC) student-parents to show the exhausting, exhilarating, and life-changing journey of being both a student and a parent. It demonstrates that there are two deeply transformative actions student-parents take to change their world: first, the decision to go to school; and second, the decision to send their child to campus-based childcare.
