Each night, high school senior Amy and her mother curl up on the couch to watch their favorite rom-com, a quiet ritual that masks the distance growing between them. While her mother works long shifts and pushes for a stable future, Amy secretly auditions for a music conservatory. When her acceptance letter is discovered, their unspoken hopes and disappointments finally surface. As college dreams clash with familial expectations, music becomes the language of their hidden desires and unexpressed love.
