Some basements do not have the amenities or accommodations that makes them a safe living space. In this documentary, IN THIS CORNER OF THE CITY, three tenants share their experiences of living in NYC basements.

      Sanjona is a Bengali American living in New York City. She majored in Documentary and Television Studies at Hunter College. Currently, she is an Associate Producer at a nonprofit filmmaking company called Reel Works. She loves horror movies and cats a lot.
