KUMAR KUMAR

Directed By Kiran Koshy

USA | Narrative | 7 min

New York City Premiere

Kumar Kumar is all alone on his birthday. His social media feed is dead. He decides he should be, too. Just then, the computer dings. This story is framed around an immigrant of color, already a stranger in a new land, often unwelcome and treated accordingly. Despite the odds, our protagonist craves a meaningful human connection, like all of us, and clings to the hope of finding one.
