IT HAPPENED IN AUGUST is a romantic drama that follows Aim, a Thai immigrant, who returns to NYC with her younger brother after their mother’s death and the collapse of her artistic dreams. One night, her ex-girlfriend Sandra reappears at the Thai restaurant where Aim works. Their unexpected reunion stirs old emotions, forcing Aim to confront grief, love, and creative longing. As feelings resurface, Aim must choose between duty and rediscovery, quietly stepping forward into a new beginning.
