      1. Danielle Seid


      Born and raised in southern California, Danielle Seid now resides in Honolulu, where she is an assistant professor of English at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Her scholarly interests include Asian and Asian American film and television, popular culture, and queer and trans media. Currently, she is completing a monograph on Asian American women on network television from 1950-1995, and beginning work on an experimental memoir that combines personal writing with historical research on Chinese American girls and women during the exclusion era.
