DAWN OF MARA is an experimental dance film exploring femininity and female desire through allegory. Told in five chapters—innocence, curiosity, obsession, fear, and acceptance—it follows Mara as she confronts her evolving emotions. Beginning in innocence, her growing fixation leads to fear, until she embraces her desires with honesty. This transformation becomes a cocoon for rebirth. Inspired by Demian, the film visualizes the emotional journey of awakening to desire, offering a bold reflection on the power, vulnerability, and liberation of becoming.
