      Viv Li is a Berlin-based Chinese filmmaker and artist. She is an alumna of the Sundance Institute, Berlinale Talents, Chicken & Eggs, Nipkow Fellowship and IDFAcademy, among others. Viv holds an MA in Documentary Filmmaking from DocNomads and a BA in Drama and Film from the University of Manchester. Born and raised in Beijing, she has spent the last 14 years of her life living in different countries in Europe, South America and Asia, giving her a distinct perspective on cultural and artistic boundaries. Her work often deals with alienation, migration and identity, and focuses on the sensitivity and tangibility of moments, the unspeakable nature of human relationships and the humor produced by self-awareness.
