The film takes place in the subway with an elderly Asian woman who is cautiously waiting on the train platform in New York City. An Asian mother, daughter, and trans person join her on the platform. Their hesitance seems tempered by a young girl who alone doesn’t have the same worries as the others. She is given a superpower of sorts—the ability to show the others that a brighter future is ahead. The film is about turning that fear into a rallying cry for justice and love.
